Day 8: Yonsei University

The next site visit was to Yonsei University, which had a very beautiful campus. I enjoyed the guided campus tour because I wouldn't have otherwise known how much history was a part of this university. One of the coolest things was seeing the bullet marks in one of the statues, which became a battleground during the Korean War. Afterward, we got to speak with some professors from Yonsei, who were very welcoming to us. It was interesting to hear about their research and see how their tech is making real changes to those with more laborious jobs. Part of what I find interesting in HSE is being able to help people do their jobs safely, and learning about their robot was an interesting new perspective.
